No Man's Land by Stephen Jarrell Williams

You're shaking,
mumbling on

barren plain of smoldering
stumps,

distant city
smoking ruins,

river full
boiling ash,

burnt boots,
hanging rags,

coughing hoarse,
chewing blood,

you survived the blast,
doomsday bomb,

searching mile after mile,
no woman to touch,

no holy house,
no sacred word.

  1. Good thing for you man as you can talk in words as much as people will really like you. I have been astounded by your poems. My auntie lives in California and lives in Texas now. This is really good for Texas Land Sales seekers because this place is for good.
